PB Battalists’ clan rules:
No invite spamming
This means that you shouldn’t be sending invites to someone you haven’t played with, or someone you met “that one time” and think he could add to our numbers. Why? Because you don’t know what kind of player he is. He could have any number of negative features. If you know a person, and believe he/she is fit to join our ranks, then ask the person to submit a Clan Application. The form can be found here: http://pbbattalists.revo-studios.com/apply/apply.html. I know this is asking a lot, but we want nothing but the highest-quality members. If they are willing to do that, then we already have an idea of the type of player he is.

Who likes a cheater?
Not us. I cannot stress this enough. If any of the members charged with disciplinary action get wind of a Battalist cheating, he will be banned. Here is a little list of things that are considered no-nos: modding, network manipulation (including standbying, bridging, boosting, etc.), or superjumping. Yes, we consider superjumping cheating. Don’t like it? Leave, we’re not begging you to stay. A nice little hint I have for you is: if in doubt, don’t do it. Yes, you may think we are cruel the day you get banned for using a cheat that is not on our short list, but we have high standards; we like our members to have common sense.

Give your opponents the respect they deserve
“Deserve” is the key word here. The traditional “good game” is a must if you did, in fact, play a good, clean game. Then again, if the team you’re facing is talking trash, and insulting every member of your family three generations back, then perhaps you don’t feel like being he friendliest guy around. This leads us to our next rule…

Of cursing and lewdness
We consider ourselves a decent, mature clan. That is why we’d like our members not to give into the temptation to curse. “No excessive cursing” is a motto made up of carefully chosen words. We understand that sometimes there is nothing better than a cute little string of impactful words to relieve stress. Just make sure those strings are fairly short and few and far between. But bear in mind that under no circumstance will a member be allowed to curse at people. If opponents are acting in an immature fashion, just stay cool, and don’t say a word. Don’t lower yourself to their level.

Pride and Prejudice… actually, just prejudice
Racist, sexist, homophobic, or any other sorts of remarks that stem from prejudice will not be tolerated. This, as you may have guessed, also includes remarks that generalize. We understand that “Americans are stupid” is a trendy remark and all that, but we won’t have it, or any other such comment. Remember, we do unto others as they do unto us. As individuals and as a whole.

Unannounced bye-bye is a no-no
A member that is gone for over two weeks without him mentioning so, will be booted, no questions asked. Of course, if you send any of the two Overlords (Clum-Z-Boy or SkrooiE) a message with a valid reason for your departure, you will be excused.

Talk and chatter: making the distinction
This rule doesn’t always apply: when we’re playing for leisure, you may disregard it. But when either A) We’re in a clanmatch, training, practice etc. or B) Your squad leader asks you to, please keep our audio space free of chatter. By this I mean no exclamations of joy, muttering brought on by frustration, or complaining.

General guidelines
Like I said, use your common sense, you should be fine. Remember that “cheap” tactics are frowned upon. While spawn camping players 20 levels lower than you won’t get you booted, it won’t earn you brownie points. We are something akin to a brotherhood; we help each other out, we have fun doing what we’re doing, and, most of all, we never, ever disrespect or talk down to one of our own.

Play on, get involved, and, most importantly, have fun!

Clum-Z-Boy.
